The Westover Galaxy Community Council brings together veterans, business leaders, and community members with one shared mission: to support the people, families, and mission of Westover Air Reserve Base.

Founded in 1988, the Council has spent more than 35 years strengthening the connection between Westover and the communities that proudly stand behind it. Today, this 501(c)(3) nonprofit includes approximately 75 civilian members dedicated to honoring those who serve, supporting military families, and advocating for Westover’s continued importance to our region.

And that impact extends far beyond the base. Westover contributes more than $300 million annually to the local economy, supporting jobs, businesses, and communities throughout Western Massachusetts.

Through partnerships locally and across the country, the Galaxy Community Council continues to champion Westover, build stronger military-community relationships, and ensure this vital installation remains a strong part of our region for generations to come.
